Camping and pitches
Ljuvadal is located in the countryside of western Blekinge, within the municipality of Olofström. It is 6 km to Mörrum (the nearest village), 15 km to Olofström, and 17 km to Karlshamn.
By drop-in camping, we mean that there is no manned reception on-site. You can book and pay either in advance via our digital booking system, or simply arrive, choose an available spot, and pay on-site using the same system.
Even without a reception desk, we are happy to help! If we aren't physically on the grounds, we are never further than a phone call away. No formal check-in is required—once you have booked and paid, everything is ready for you.
Yes, there are. All spots (A-H) in the area called Terrassen are designated as pitches (ställplatser) because they are specially adapted for motorhomes. Please note that these specific spots do not have electricity. If you require electricity, we recommend spots 42–58, which also have a hard-surfaced ground.
Facilities
Whether you stay at a designated motorhome pitch or a standard camping plot, you have full access to all our facilities. Please note that the choice of electricity is made at the time of booking—it cannot be added or removed afterward. If you change your mind, it is possible to switch spots; just contact us and we will assist you!
At Ljuvadal, there is a simple outdoor kitchen under a roof. We have a stove with an oven and two burners, a refrigerator, and a freezer. Pots, pans, and other cooking utensils are not provided, so please bring your own.
We use power pedestals with 216 CEE connections and 16A fuses. If you have forgotten an adapter for a standard plug, these are available for purchase from us.
Unfortunately, we do not offer electric vehicle (EV) charging at this time. For safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to charge your car using our standard electrical outlets (at pitches or in cabins), as the local grid is not designed for this heavy load.
Instead, we kindly direct you to the public charging stations available in Gränum and Mörrum. You can find the nearest charging point via ChargeFinder.
Dogs at the campsite
Of course! Ljuvadal is a dog-friendly campsite.
We offer a special activity trail called "Hundrundan" (The Dog Loop) and a designated dog swimming area in Lake Uggleboda. The dog bath is located to the right of the jetty at the swimming area; there is a sign at the water's edge to help you find it.
Booking, payment, and cancellations
You book and pay for your spot via our online booking system. There, you can choose your preferred spot yourself without any extra booking fees. You are also welcome to call or email us, and we will help you with the reservation.
The status board at the entrance shows which spots are available right now and until 12:00 PM. If you are trying to book two or more nights, the spot you want might be reserved for one of the following nights, which won't show on the board. It could also be that the spot is not available for your specific accommodation type (e.g., some spots are only for tents or only for motorhomes).
You can cancel your booking up to 48 hours before the arrival date. The booking fee is non-refundable upon cancellation. Cancellations made later than 48 hours before the booking starts are not eligible for a refund. You can easily cancel via the link in your booking confirmation or by contacting us.
At Ljuvadal, you do not need to buy separate cancellation insurance, as it is already included in your booking fee.
Tourism in Blekinge
Blekinge offers a "smorgasbord" of experiences—it’s hard to choose! Located between Karlshamn and Olofström, Ljuvadal serves as the perfect base for discovering the entire region, from the coast to the inland.
We personally love locally produced food, so we highly recommend visiting the many authentic farm shops in western Blekinge. Nature also offers several wonderful spots with breathtaking views, refreshing swimming, and fascinating geological formations.
The Mörrum River and its famous fishing waters are located approximately 6 km from Ljuvadal.

Starting from Ljuvadal, you can quickly reach several wonderful hikes on foot, by bike, or a short car ride. Braxaleden starts right at the campsite. You’ll find Systrarnas stig in Tången (5 km), Laxaleden by the Mörrum River (6 km), and it’s 15 km to Sweden’s southernmost wilderness in the Halen Nature Reserve.
It is 6 km to Mörrum, where you will find two grocery stores. If you are looking for a store with a larger selection, the closest one is in Olofström (15 km). In central Olofström, you will also find cafés, restaurants, a pharmacy, and the liquor store (Systembolaget). For a wider range of shopping and clothing stores, Karlshamn is 17 km away.
Unfortunately, there are no regular bus routes passing Ljuvadal. However, Blekingetrafiken offers a service called "Närtrafik" (on-demand transit). You can travel with Närtrafik every day of the week between 08:00 and 18:00. The nearest hub to travel to/from is Mörrum Church. Please note that the trip must be booked in advance.
